Watch this Lamb named Pet who Thinks she's a Sheep Dog
Watch this adorable little lamb named Pet who thinks she's a sheep dog after being raised along with Border Collies and now thinks she's part of the dog pack while hoping and playing around with other Collies
Generally domestic animals are treated differently when compared to farm animals, while on one hand the domesticated ones enjoy the company of humans and get to stay inside the house on the other hand the farm animals which are considered a mere commodity are kept outside the house and used for various human needs and as such we don't usually see a bonding between farm animals and domesticated animals as they are treated differently. Ever wondered what it would look like if farm animals and domesticated animals were brought up together? Well you are going to witness the very thing in this enchanting story about a lamb named Pet by Jemma MacKenzie who was born as an orphan, worried about the little girl considering the harsh climates outside Mrs Mackenzie brought her inside to ensure that she's grows into a beautiful majestic sheep. The fun part was she was going to be raised with four other border collies named Dice, Fly, Jess and Megan. She lamp Pet quickly bonded with the four collies as she thought the eldest of collies Dice was her mother because she was the one who introduced her to the rest of the pack and let her in.
Lamb and Dice chilling out together
Over a year now the little lamb Pet has grown with the other pups thinking she's a dog and surprisingly act and behaves like a dog including their habits like going on long walks with other collies and mom Jemma MacKenzie, wagging her tail just like other collies, eating and napping inside the her basket and hanging out and paying with the other collies. Well it shouldn't be of a surprise to anyone after all she was adopted by the collies and grew up as one of them as the sheep dog and thus naturally has habits as that of a dog. In the above video you can see the 10 month old Pet playing adorably with her sister collies in snow while hoping and jumping around as a sheep dog and part of the dog pack family. ♥ :)
Meanwhile if your are wondering if Pet was the only lamb who grew up thinking she's dog than you might just have to meet her sheep brothers Jack and Lamo who also grew up with dogs thinking they are one of them and have a unbelievably strong bond of friendship and love between them. here are their stories for the sheeps who think they are dogs. :D
Jack the Sheep who thinks he's a Dog
Jack rescued as a lamb was brought up with a Springer Spaniel dog is now convinced that he is a sheep dog. 6 month old Jack thinks he is a canine and even does the same as he fetches sticks, wears a collar and a lead, jumps up on his hind legs and even barks. Funny fact is that Jack fails big time at recognizing his own species as he tries to herd sheep when he is put in the field with the rest of the flock. Owners Alison Sinstadt and her partner Simon Sherwin were stunned when the Lleyn sheep was befriended by their 9 old Springer Spaniel Jessie and grew up thinking of her as his mother and quickly learned her habits as a dog becoming a famous full fledged sheep dog. :D ♥
Lamo the sheep thinks he's a dog
A baa-king mad sheep Lamo which was rescued after being hit by a car and brought up with three puppies now thinks it's a dog. 13 month old Lamo thinks he is a pooch and fetches sticks and balls, wears a collar and a lead, jumps up on his hind legs and even barks just like Jack with only difference that he prefers to chase rabbits instead. Mother of 4 Jennifer Jones who runs a Rockfield Animal Rescue in Wentnor, Shrops fed Lamo milk and brought him up with her three dogs Wallace (Staffordshire Bull Terrier), Judy (Jack Russell) and Poppy (Labrador) and now together with the sheep dog Lamo they form the pack. ♫ You got to say these sheeps growing up thinking they are dogs is very similar to the story of Tarzan of the jungle who was brought up by the gorilla's and other animals and behaved and followed their habits. Quite fascinating! Just wondering who will be the next animal to break the rules and follow the path of being whatever they want. :)
