Well as kids everyone wants to grow up as fast they can to avoid the authority of the adults and bossy parents. But as we grow up, we realise the how carefree our childhood was. Just moving through those old photo albums, we reminisce the protective care of our mom and dad as the emotions of love and hardship faced by our parents start to roll down our faces.
Well this was the similar case with our Macmillan brothers where the three siblings decided to cherish and relive their childhood memories,
recreating the same moments with their adult versions of themselves for a delightful Christmas surprise for their beloved mom Vickie MacMillan.
The Macmillan brothers united at their childhood home, searching through albums for photos to re-enact in various parts of their house as their dad joined them just like the old times.

So here is how the story began , it all started with their mom who demanded calendars from them for every Christmas which included their silly selfies and crazy adventures, but this time eldest brother, Matt MacMillan decided to do something different for their mom.

And saying so all the three brothers took a break from their work for a month before Christmas and united at their old childhood home where their parents still lived and started to work on reenacting their old childhood photos as grown ups while taking help of their dad to choose some of the epic photos from the album.

While the backgrounds for the photos was not a problem the real deal were the costumes as the Macmillan brothers tried their best to search for the cloths that matched their childhood outfits while lots of stuff like ninja turtle stuff and inspector gadget clothes and other props were had to be recreated as they searched through numerous thrift stores.

Now that the costumes and stuff were ready it was time for clicking the perfect positions and facial expressions as the brothers took a minimum of 20 photos per scene trying to improvise while shooting in secrecy to avoid their mom from knowing the surprise beforehand.

And finally after lots of hard work the way back machine snaps where ready which looked far more bizarre and hilarious with grown up versions of themselves. They compiled them into a gift for their lovely mom Vickie MacMillan. Finally it was time for the mission Christmas calendar gift for mom surprise time and the result was prompt tears of joy of their mother. She first started laughing uncontrollably looking at those hilarious photos and than the touchy tribute brought tears of happiness to her eyes.

The Macmillan brothers said they always had been mamma's boys and that they are a close family with the super trio combination of batman, devil boy and the ghost of Christmas. While everything went well their only mistake was forgetting to capture their mom's reaction in a video.

Meanwhile having done a blunder at the end they decided to do one more such way back machine recreates in the future and this time may be they will have some new faces to add to it as well . :D They uploaded these photos on photo sharing site Imgur "
We did that Thing" where later it was shared on reddit making it go viral worldwide.
The epic scene of them fitting in the bath tub became the center of attraction where Macmillan brothers who just planned it as a delightful gift for their mom never expected the whole world to see them fitting into that bathtub together. :D Way to go Macmillan brothers you rock ! ♫ I just wonder how would you guys have created this
